With its exposed stone walls, vaulted cellar, and modular spaces, Apogé Austerlitz was the perfect backdrop for this intercultural evening of food, fun, and friendly competition. Known for hosting large groups without compromising intimacy or quality of experience, it met every need for our corporate team building wine tasting night in Paris.

The evening began with a lively introduction to French gastronomy — exploring regions, cheese varieties, and the fascinating complexity of French wines. This cultural appetizer set the stage for a deeply engaging wine tasting team building activity.

And then… let the games begin! At RV Dégustation, we believe wine tasting should always be fun and interactive. From gourmet quizzes and blind tastings to aroma recognition and team challenges, everything was designed to stimulate curiosity, spark laughter, and encourage intercultural exchange.

This was a Paris team building activity that truly brought people together. Everyone participated at their own pace, in a joyful, inclusive, and warm atmosphere — amateurs and connoisseurs alike.

Participants were surprised and delighted by unexpected pairings — like Bleu d’Auvergne with a semi-dry Vouvray from Domaine Huet, or the indulgent harmony of a Blanc de Noirs Champagne with creamy Brillat-Savarin. Who guessed the Chardonnay grape in the Montagny Les Bassets from Château de Chamilly? And who nailed the sheep’s milk in a blind tasting of Ossau-Iraty?

We also included mini tasting classes to help participants recognize cheese families, identify grape varieties, and understand the basics of food and wine pairing. It was a fun and accessible way to learn — full of tips, anecdotes, and new inspiration.

A Responsible and Generous Wine Tasting Buffet for All Team Members

The buffet featured exceptional products chosen for their quality, origin, and production methods: artisan cheeses (often organic or farm-produced), wines from independent winemakers (many of them organic or biodynamic), delicious charcuterie, and high-quality breads.

We made sure everyone was included: vegetarian options, non-alcoholic beverages (including grape juice by varietal and artisanal kombucha), as well as gluten- and lactose-free alternatives. Every participant in the team building activity felt seen and valued — no one was left out.

As always with RV Dégustation, we used no plastic or disposable materials: only wood, ceramic, glassware, and metal cutlery — for a refined, sustainable, and eco-friendly experience.

Decor was equally thoughtful: dried flower bouquets, rustic wooden boards, handwritten slate signs — because every Paris wine tasting activity should be as beautiful as it is delicious.
